Where to send it

Email [email protected] with the subject line DMCA notice. You can also use the report control on the wallpaper page and choose copyright, then follow up by email if we need the statements below.

What a notice must include

• Your name and a way to reach you: email address, and a phone number or mailing address.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you own.
• The exact URL of the wallpaper on BestWallpapers.app. One URL per work is best.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Notices that omit the URL or the two statements cannot be processed. Misrepresenting a notice can have legal consequences.

What we do

For a complete notice we remove or disable the wallpaper and record the complaint. Repeat infringement can close the related account.

Counter-notice

If your wallpaper was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email [email protected] with the subject DMCA counter-notice. Include:

• Your name, address, phone number, and email.
• The URL that was removed.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district, or if you are outside the United States, for any judicial district where the site operator may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We may forward a counter-notice to the person who submitted the original notice. Restoring a file is not automatic.

Personal use is not a transfer of copyright

The image license allows a visitor to set a wallpaper on their own device. It does not make the visitor the copyright owner.
