Privacy policy

Who this covers

This policy applies to bestwallpapers.app and www.bestwallpapers.app. Privacy requests go to [email protected].

Information you give us

• Account email and sign-in method when you create an account or continue with Google. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.
• Favorites and other actions tied to that account.
• Messages you send to the contact address, and reports you submit on a wallpaper.

Information collected automatically

• Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, used to run and protect the site.
• A local record of your cookie choice, and a local record of the color theme.
• Google Analytics, after you accept analytics cookies. The tag is on the page with measurement off until then. See the cookie policy.

Advertising

Personalized advertising cookies load only after you accept them in the cookie banner. If ads are not shown, that choice is still stored so we do not ask on every visit.

How we use it

• To show the catalog, serve image files, and complete downloads.
• To keep you signed in and show your library.
• To answer support, privacy, and copyright mail.
• To measure traffic when you allow analytics, and to show ads when you allow advertising cookies.
• To investigate abuse, spam, and copyright complaints.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who processes it

Sign-in is processed by Google Firebase. Wallpaper files are stored and delivered through Cloudflare. Email we send, such as a password reset, goes through our email provider. Analytics, when accepted, is Google Analytics. These providers receive only what they need to perform that job.

How long we keep it

Account data stays while the account exists. Server logs are kept for security and operations, then dropped on a routine schedule. Copyright correspondence is kept for as long as we need it to show how a notice was handled.

Your choices

• Reject non-essential cookies in the banner. You can clear site data in your browser to choose again.
• Sign out, and stop using Google sign-in for this site, from your Google account permissions.
• Email [email protected] to ask for a copy of your account data or to delete the account. Include the email address on the account.

Children

The site is a general wallpaper catalog and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13.
